Past mid-September and we still have tourists checking out our views. These out-of-towners
were going up the trail to Valentine Mountain, to take in the view at the top.

David Lam Falls
With my bum knees it's been some years since I've been able to hit the many hiking trails
in our area, particularly around Duck Lake. Blackwater Creek Trail is one of the
best, with both the David Lam Falls and Kelly Falls. These photos go back to
late winter of 2011.

The Wildwood switchback trail last month, and, below, 8 years ago to the month.
Since the 2008 photo was taken the wood railing has slowly
disintegrated, and there isn't much of it left complete.
Which is a shame.
