Violet-green Swallow Portrait

This portrait was taken at Powell Lake near the Shinglemill last year,
but I was there again last week and wasted some of my retirement time watching a
number of these birds cutting swathes through the air. Nice to see.

  1. Wow! Our swallows fledged several weeks ago and we haven't seen them since. The barn swallows are different. They come back each evening to pick off the flying insects and hang out in the garden for a while. - Margy
