Coho salmon start appearing at Lang Creek in small numbers by
the end of August, and as their numbers increase into September, Black
Bears also appear. These photos were taken at the Creek last year. With a long lens.

Great capture with the last one. We saw lots of bear sign (poop) up at the head last weekend but no bears. But we did see a herd of 28 elk led by a magnificent buck with a large antler rack. - Margy
