Bald Eagle

With the horrendous weather lately I'm having to dig into the archives, so here's one of

my favourite Bald Eagle photos. A classic pose on the rocks of the South Harbour breakwater.

This is very nice. I love how detailed the feathers are in this shot, not to mention the clarity of all the other details. That eye!

I need to dig around. Lately seems all I do is take pictures of cooking and canning projects. And then taking a vacation to Los Angeles didn't help with my off the grid topics, but it did help us get some sun and warm days. - Margy

A retired life in Powell River, my home for over 40 years. Photos of people, events, scenery, birds, floral and whatever else happens to catch my eye between Saltery Bay and Lund. The photos will be a mix of current photos and those pulled from my ever growing archive, but all will be taken by myself. While Powell River is home, I do occasionally leave town, and that also will be reflected here.

Unfortunately I'm dealing with a few issues that require me to at least temporarily slow down on the photography and the blogging. The joys of getting old!

So I'll still post, but definitely a bit erratically.
