Gold, Rust and Green

At Cranberry Lake, looking toward Lindsay Park. I posted a similar view last year; this
year the colours are a few weeks earlier. We don't get the bright colours they do
in parts east, but the coast has many other blessings to compensate.

  1. Our maples didn't last long this year. Just after they turned we got that heavy wind. Then came the snow. But they were beautiful as long as they lasted. - Margy

  2. It's true that eastern areas have spectacular color. But our big leaf maples, native willows, and others make a fine showing against the evergreens. And you're right: the coast has many other blessings.
