At The Creek

We should soon see Chum Salmon at Willingdon Creek. Last year this bird was there

End Of The Season

A few weeks back I saw this being towed down the Strait. It's a fishing lodge - the sign says
"North Island Lodge", one of the 3 lodges of the West Coast Fishing Club, and the only
one of the 3 that floats. It's based in the Queen Charlottes, off Langara Island, and
with the end of the fishing season, will over-winter in the south.

Taking Delivery

The Seymour Crown taking delivery of a barge of chips, one of 2 chip barges and a barge of hog fuel
that had been towed up from the Fraser River, an event that happens at the Catalyst mill nearly every day.

Beach Access - Patrick Road

Another of the Regional District's "Beach Access" points south of town, the end of Patrick Road.
This is just east of the beach at Donkersly Road. The shot was taken 45 minutes
after official sunrise, with the sun just clearing the trees on the point at Brew Bay, behind the camera.

At Eagle River

Eagle River, a very popular summer swimming and diving spot, though I'll be honest,
I was disinclined to get to the edge of that 35-foot waterfall on the left of the above photo.
